When Kameron asked me to photograph his wedding it was a no brainer. I had photographed his brothers’ wedding in Silverthorne Colorado and his sisters wedding in Nashville Tennessee. All of them are pictured in the group shots below. I had told them it was my goal to photograph all of their big days, cause sometimes you just run into a client who is so special they need to be in your life and journey with your art forever.

This wedding was a bit different. No getting ready photos needed, no reception, just a few hours booked for a first look, great portraits and a simple ceremony. Location was Golden Gate Canyon State Park at Panorama Point near Boulder Colorado. I had never shot there before and my introduction to it was met with a light rainstorm and two rangers who asked me if I had a permit when they saw me setting up my lights in a field near the ceremony site. I didn’t since usually if the wedding is on site an additional permit isn’t needed, but this is the photography world. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows where you can just shoot wherever you please (even on wedding day), but when the clients arrived the rangers were cool, the rain stopped and the photography Gods gave me a break. The outcome was beautiful imagery with great post storm light, gorgeous people, and my goal accomplished of capturing the weddings of these three amazing siblings!
